Private Dog Training | At Pawlorado or In Your Home
1-on-1 Private Dog Training
Private training at Pawlorado is $169 per session. Purchase 4 sessions and receive 8% off; 6 sessions receive 11% off; and 8 sessions receive 13% off. In-home private training is $269 per session.
Our community-service and pet-industry discount provides an additional 15% off for active-duty military, veterans, fire and rescue personnel, police officers, VA workers, and pet-industry professionals. This discount can be combined with a bundle discount.
Every client can begin with a free phone consultation and evaluation. Sessions provide individualized, hands-on instruction tailored to your dog, your goals, and your everyday environment.
Pawlorado Foundations | $249 per dog | Minimum of 4 Dogs
Stage One: Pawlorado Foundations
Pawlorado Foundations is a six-week group program designed to build the core skills dogs need to function calmly and confidently in everyday life. Training takes place in carefully selected public environments where dogs learn to stay engaged and responsive around real-world distractions.
We focus on developing clear communication, engagement, leash handling, and emotional regulation from the very beginning. This course creates structure for dogs while helping owners understand timing, mechanics, and how learning truly works.
Training goes beyond teaching commands. We prioritize clarity, impulse control, and thoughtful handling so your dog learns not just what to do, but how to think through challenges in daily life.
Pawlorado Refinement | $279 per dog | Minimum of 4 dogs
Stage Two: Pawlorado Refinement
Pawlorado Refinement is a six-week progression course for teams ready to strengthen reliability under greater distraction. Held in public environments, this program increases expectations for duration, distance, precision, and calm decision-making.
We focus on advancing known skills while improving handler awareness and consistency. Dogs learn to maintain engagement and emotional regulation even as environments become more complex.
Rather than simply adding difficulty, Refinement builds stability. The result is a dog who can respond clearly and confidently in situations that once felt overwhelming.

Stage Three: Pawlorado Expeditions
Pawlorado Expeditions is an advanced six-week group experience centered on real-world application. Training takes place in field and public environments that require high levels of communication, structure, and emotional control.
This program focuses on proofing behaviors in unpredictable settings while maintaining safety and clarity. Dogs learn to remain thoughtful and responsive around movement, wildlife, crowds, and environmental distractions.
Expeditions is designed for teams seeking true reliability beyond structured classes. The emphasis is on practical skill application so your dog can navigate the world with confidence and composure.
Behavior Training | At Pawlorado or In Your Home
Behavior Modification Training
Behavioral Modification Training provides individualized support for dogs struggling with reactivity, anxiety, fear, or difficulty disengaging from triggers. Sessions are structured to uncover the underlying drivers of behavior while creating clear, humane strategies for change.
We focus on emotional regulation, threshold awareness, and thoughtful decision-making rather than quick fixes or suppression. Each plan is customized to your dog’s specific needs and environment.
The goal is not just improved behavior, but lasting stability. Owners leave with a structured process and a deeper understanding of how to support their dog’s progress long term.
Service Task Training | Min. of 6-month commitment
Service Dog Training
Service Task Training is designed for handlers developing specific trained tasks related to service work. Sessions are customized to the handler’s needs and the dog’s abilities, with a focus on clarity, structure, and reliable performance.
We break tasks into manageable components and build them thoughtfully, ensuring steady progress without overwhelming the dog. Public access skills and behavioral readiness are integrated as appropriate.
This program emphasizes precision, consistency, and ethical training practices so both dog and handler can move forward with confidence and clear expectations. To qualify, dogs must have successfully completed, at minimum, the Foundations and Refinement courses. Admission is selective, and Pawlorado reserves the right to accept or decline applicants based on suitability for the program.
Virtual Training | $169 per hour | 60 minutes
Virtual Dog Training
Virtual Dog Training provides professional coaching and structured guidance without the need for in-person sessions. These sessions are ideal for troubleshooting, planning, skill clarification, and behavior analysis.
We review your goals, assess current challenges, and develop a practical training plan tailored to your environment. Clear action steps ensure you leave each session knowing exactly what to practice and how to progress.
Virtual training offers flexibility while maintaining the same thoughtful, structured approach that defines all Pawlorado programs.
