Our Dog Training Faq
Sniffing Out the Details For You...
How long will it take to train my dog?
It depends on your goals, your consistency, your patience, and your dog’s ability to manage arousal, persist through learning, and adapt to pressure.
There is no universal timeline—only progress curves. Training can take anywhere from a structured 6-week class to several months, or in some cases one to two years, depending on the outcome you’re aiming for.
Is my dog too old for training?
I have yet to meet a dog that is too old to learn. Training methods change with age and shifting variables, but no—your dog is not too old to train.
Do you train service dogs?
Yes. I have extensive experience training service dogs, including diabetic alert dogs, mobility support dogs, PTSD support dogs, dogs assisting with behavioral health cases, and dogs trained to support children with special needs.
Can you train my dog to be an Emotional Support Animal (ESA)?
Getting an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is generally a simple process that requires a doctor’s note only.
While formal training isn’t legally required, a reasonable amount of training is strongly recommended, for everyone involved.
